In this week’s release number v2.9.4, we added a brand new Guided Tour for all major functions of our platform. This 3 step guided tour will serve as a greeting guide for new customers to understand key features of what makes LendAPI great.

We also added a 3 minute video of the guided tour to give even more intimate experience with key features of our product. This batch of guided tours and videos will give you a first hand account of how to build a new product, launch a new product and set up critical integration partners all on your own.  

In this release, we upgraded many of our core product features. From Product Studio, Pricing Engine, Contract Builder, Agent View and so much more.

We have a few new team members coming in the coming weeks in time for new customers and clients starting and launching. We have new team members joining our customer success team and another one joining our sales and marketing team.

Lastly, we are putting together a data room and pitch deck for our Series A raise. We are thinking about raising a $15-$20m round to keep us growing and expanding our products and offerings to other verticals such as Insurance and e-Commerce. Thanks for all the Tier1 FinTech VCs entertaining our preview discussions.

LendAPI Platform Release Notes - v2.9.4

Product Studio - Update

• We are adding (moving rather) a new footer section of the Product Builder. A simple version of this footer setup was in the Global Settings’s section of the platform. We are moving this out of that space and putting it into the Product Studio section so everything is now together. 

• We also added a Tool Tip for each of the variables in the variables list view on the left hand side of the Product Studio canvas. This tool tip will provide even more information on the variables you are thinking about using. We think this will make it easier for you to understand the fundamental elements of the product build and this will help you build faster.

We added back the Back Button in the PRoduct Studio design canvas.

Pricing Engine - Updates

• We are adding a mini-connector inside of the Pricing Engine so it can be used to call even more events and services. This new feature will be able to be used to map to more outcomes and make our pricing engine a decision engine itself.

Contract Builder - Update

• We continue to update our newly launched Contract Builder by adding a new contract signer certificate in PDF formation with date time stamp as well as IP Address along with all consent and displeasure certificates.

• We’ve updated a few UI elements from the previous release to make the design tighter and more fitting to our platform design elements.

• We also added more intelligent warning messages for the contract designers to let them know if variables in the system are missing while they are composing the contract.

• We’ve also updated the version control for published contracts in the Contract Builder section of the platform.

• We fixed an issue where the signature for one of the co-signers was executed twice, it’s only supposed to be executed once. 

Pricing Engine - Update

• We updated the new font to replace Pacifico in the contract builder canvas.

Overall Platform - Update

• We added a new Guided Tour feature to all of our major features. Whenever a new client logs into these features for the first time, a three step guided tour will play to give the new user an overview of each of the sections.

• We’ve also added a three minute demo walk through of these sections to give new users a closer look at each of the features with this step by step demonstration.

• We modified the Logout function so it takes the user back into the production environment after they’ve performed a log out function. 

Agent View - Update

• We added a few more icons to “Show Variables” on the right hand side to dress up the overall UI a bit more and make it more user friendly.

• We also fixed the border issues within the Agent View to make the UI neater.

• We also made a workflow change when terms and conditions are updated, pending applications need to reconfirm new terms of use before proceeding to the next step of the application process.

• We made it clearer in the Underwriting section that clearly shows which tree and node was used and executed. It wasn’t too clear before.

• We anchored the viewer to each page even after a refresh, so they can stay on the page they were on again but refreshed with new information.

Email Template - Update

• We extended the name of the Outcome to show the entire name to clarify.

Integrated Partners - Update

• We renamed DataX Teletrack to just Teletrack.

Model Studio - Update

• You can finally upload PMML and Python Pkl files within our Model Studio now. Our Blackbox-as-a-Service is now complete with Amazon SageMaker, Docker Containers and now with PMML and Pkl files. You can run your models without having to spend a lot of time and money to build a model runtime environment, we got you covered.

• We updated the UI so it’s more reflective of the true design layout. We’ve also modified the header size and its fonts to be true to our original design.

• We modified the pagination block in the model listing view. We’ve also updated a bunch of new icons to be more true to our design.

• The Blackbox-as-a-Service integrated partner calls are now calling the integrated panel partners that are enabled vs calling the previous Underwrite AI data providers. This was clearly incorrect and we made a fix to this microservice.

What’s Next?

We are working on some executing new features around OCR technology that will let our users scan any type of document with our integration to OpenAI as well as running rules within the data that’s extracted from the scanned in document with our Rules Studio and Decision Engine.

We are also working on a brand new two way customer communications platform where we allow our banks to text directly with our customers' mobile phones to make their experience more engaging. The LendAPI Chat features will be available soon. Lastly, we will introduce the LendAPI Call feature where our clients and their customers can have a two way video conference feature where they can talk, verify and record the live conversation for various purposes.
