This release is about control on both sides of the loan. When you originate in LendAPI v3.3.1, the borrower's journey reads correctly from their side, every attempted email is in front of your team (including the ones that failed), and all of an applicant's Plaid bank data sits on one tab. Once the loan is in servicing, EmbARC adds three promotional financing options, loan-to-value monitoring with margin-call notices, and automatic protection for Daily Payout facilities when a collection fails. You can offer more flexible terms up front and react faster when risk changes later. Originate in LendAPI, service in EmbARC, end to end.

LendAPI v3.3.1 — The Origination Side
Borrowers only see their own steps
Improvement: A journey that reads right from the borrower's side
Many application flows include pages your team fills in: an agent page where a dealer adds details, or a review step before an offer goes out. Until now, borrowers could still see traces of those steps. Their progress bar counted them, and the step count included pages they would never touch.
Now borrowers never see those pages at all. Agent pages and review steps are hidden from navigation, the progress bar, the step counter, and the Back button. A borrower shouldn't be told they're on "step 3 of 7" when only five of those steps are theirs. Now the flow simply reads correctly.
The practical impact: fewer confused borrowers wondering what they missed, fewer support calls, and a flow that feels shorter because it is shorter, from their side.
See every email, including the ones that failed
Improvement: Email tracking you can act on
When an email didn't reach a borrower, it used to simply be missing from the application. Your team couldn't tell whether a message was never sent, or sent and rejected.
The Email tab now shows every attempted send, including failures, with the reason each one failed. A typo in an email address, a full mailbox, a rejected domain: you see exactly what happened, right next to the emails that went through.
For your team, that means no more guessing when a borrower says "I never got it." You can spot the problem, fix the address, and send again, before a stalled application turns into a lost one.

All your bank data in one place
Improvement: Plaid Auth, Assets and Transactions on one tab
Underwriting a borrower's bank data used to mean moving between screens and digging into raw integration output. Plaid Auth, Asset and Transactions data now all appear together on the application's Transactions tab.
Pick an account, and you see its balance details and transactions in one view. Your underwriters get a complete picture of an applicant's banking information in seconds instead of minutes.
More control over text messaging
New feature: Your SMS provider, your systems, your numbers
Text messaging gets three upgrades. You can now supply your own text-messaging configuration in settings instead of sending through our shared route. A new API lets your external systems trigger a text using one of your templates, so your messaging stays consistent no matter what starts it. And sandbox and production now use different sending numbers, so test messages can never be confused with the real thing.
A record of integration changes
Improvement: Who changed what, and when
Changes to integration settings are now logged with who made the change and when. That helps when you're troubleshooting, and it helps when someone asks you to prove a change for an audit.

EmbARC — The Servicing Side
Promotional financing, three ways
New feature: Promotional financing options
Promotional offers help you win the sale, especially for larger purchases. EmbARC now supports three of them.
With Same as Cash, borrowers make minimum payments during the promotional period and avoid the accrued promotional interest by paying the balance in full by the deadline. With No Payment, Deferred Interest, borrowers make no required payments during the promotional period and avoid the accrued promotional interest the same way. With Equal Payments, 0% Interest, borrowers repay in equal scheduled installments at 0% interest over the term you set.
For both deferred-interest options, the accrued promotional interest becomes payable if the balance isn't paid in full by the deadline, so the terms are clear for your borrowers and your team alike.
Know when collateral risk changes
New feature: LTV monitoring, margin calls and borrower notices
When a loan is secured by collateral, its risk moves with the collateral's value. EmbARC now monitors loan-to-value ratios against the risk thresholds you configure, and sends borrower email notices when a collateral trigger is reached.
Your servicing team can spot shortfalls early, coordinate margin-call follow-up, and keep borrowers informed as their collateral risk changes, instead of finding out after the problem has grown.
Stop paying out when collections fail
Improvement: Daily Payout suspension and reactivation
Daily Payout products keep money moving every day, which is exactly why a failed or returned settlement collection is risky: the next payout goes out before anyone notices the last collection didn't come in.
Daily Payout products can now pause further disbursements after a failed or returned settlement collection. Your team reviews the suspension, and when everything is in order, reactivates the facility with a note explaining why. The result is less money out the door on a facility that isn't paying back, and a clear record of every pause and restart.
Easier to follow linked loans and payment methods
Improvement: Clearer Loans grid and payment methods
Borrowers with more than one loan are easier to follow. Related loans are now marked in the Loans grid, and hovering shows the linked accounts, so your team doesn't have to open each loan to see how they connect. Debit cards also show their card names and nicknames, so you can tell payment methods apart at a glance.
Everything else in this release
On the LendAPI side (v3.3.1):
A refreshed interface. An updated multi-offer widget with more control over the selected offer, a refined dropdown, corrected button colors and icon weights, and smaller layout fixes. New tabs open to the right of the one you're on, the overview section is open by default, flow-node previews load on first hover, and document action buttons stay visible after you add files.
Stronger protection for sensitive data. Personal information on the Leads page is now masked by default, and permissions are enforced consistently across every account and sub-account.
Contracts you can rely on. Fully signed contracts now reliably produce their signed PDF, and currency and number values are formatted correctly in PDF contracts.
Small fixes. Information entered on the first page is no longer lost when an applicant goes Back, custom analytics scripts load correctly, applicant login goes to the right place, and "Select all" on the applications list applies to what you've searched for.
On the EmbARC side:
Simpler setup. First and second payment days are now optional for semi-monthly products, and bank-transfer handling better fits payment processor requirements.
Fixes for balances shown before funding, payment setup errors that could block disbursements, interest-waiver processing, multi-draw funding checks, funding actions on budgeted loans, repeated approval submissions, customer country codes and duplicate phone numbers, customer search, and Scheduled Payment labeling.
