Work on a contract before you send it

New feature: Save contracts as drafts

Until now, creating a contract was all-or-nothing — the moment you generated it, it was final or already on its way to the borrower for signature. If a number wasn't quite right, you were stuck.

Now you can save a contract as a draft. Get the terms exactly how you want them, set it aside, come back later, and only send for signature when you're ready. A clear "Draft" label keeps works-in-progress from being mistaken for finished contracts, and your whole team can see at a glance what's still being prepared. Once a contract is sent, it locks — so there's never any confusion about which version went to the borrower.

The payoff is simple: fewer mistakes, less rework, and no more contracts going out before they're ready. This came directly from a customer who told us the back-and-forth on values was one of their biggest headaches — so we built it for everyone.



A simpler way to collect and review documents

Improvement: Reject a document and tell the borrower in one click

Chasing paperwork is one of the slowest parts of lending. This release makes it far less painful.

When a borrower sends the wrong or unreadable file, you can reject it and notify them in a single click — no separate email, no copy-pasting. Need several missing items? Ask for them all at once instead of one at a time. And the whole document list now reads at a glance: how many documents you've received, what's approved, what's still pending, and what's been rejected. Your team spends less time keeping track and more time moving loans forward — and borrowers get clear, fast direction on exactly what to fix.



Improvement: Everything about a document, in one place

Open any document and you'll find everything you need right there — approve or reject it, see what our AI pulled out of it, request a fresh copy, or look back at earlier versions. No digging, no switching screens. Reviewing a file is now a few seconds instead of a hunt.



New feature: Catch the wrong document the moment it's uploaded

Borrowers send the wrong file all the time — a pay stub when you asked for a bank statement. Normally that's discovered later, and someone has to reach back out and wait all over again.

Now the system spots the mismatch the instant it's uploaded and tells the borrower right away, in plain language: "This looks like a pay stub, but we asked for a bank statement." They can fix it on the spot. That means fewer stalled applications, less manual follow-up for your team, and a smoother experience for the borrower — the wrong file never even makes it into the file.


Build faster in Flow Builder

Improvement: A quicker way to find the data you need

Building an application flow means pulling in the right pieces of borrower data over and over. That's now much faster. Search for what you need, pick several at once, and add them in one go — all from the keyboard, without reaching for the mouse. Now you can edit values directly in the pricing table and connect each column to the data that drives it, right where you're looking. Sometimes you need to sell a loan to an investor — and sometimes buy it back. EmbARC now makes that a clean, controlled process. Transfer a loan to an outside owner with the settlement date and balance captured, track it under its new owner, and buy it back later when you need to. Every step — who owns it, when it settled, how it affects your books — is recorded and easy to trace. It opens up investor and loan-sale strategies while keeping a complete, audit-ready history behind them.



Connect related loans

New feature: Link loans so the full picture is clear

Loans are often connected — a renewal, a replacement, a follow-on. EmbARC now lets you link them so those relationships are obvious. Close out a loan and roll it into the one that replaces it, simply connect two loans while leaving both as they are, or spin up a new loan that's automatically tied back to the original. Your servicing team always sees how accounts relate, without any messy manual tracking.

New feature: Automatic payment reminders

Missed payments usually come down to forgotten ones. EmbARC now sends borrowers timely reminders on their own — a nudge before an auto-pay runs, a heads-up when a payment is due. You decide the timing and how often, and it goes out automatically through email. Less manual outreach for your team, fewer missed payments, and borrowers who always know what's coming.



Stay compliant without the extra steps

New feature: Built-in SCRA, MLA, and OFAC checks

Compliance checks are essential but time-consuming when they live in a separate tool.
