About the Role:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Web Front End Engineer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the front-end of our web applications. You will work closely with our back-end developers, designers, and product managers to create a dynamic and engaging user interface that aligns with our brand and business objectives.
What You Will Do:
Develop and Maintain User Interfaces: Build responsive and visually appealing web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks like React.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to implement new features and improve existing functionality.
Optimize Web Applications: Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, and ensure they are responsive across various devices and browsers.
Write Clean, Maintainable Code: Follow best practices in coding, testing, and code reviews. Write modular, well-documented code that can be easily maintained and extended.
Troubleshoot and Debug Issues: Identify and resolve front-end issues and bugs to ensure the smooth operation of our web applications.
Stay Current with Industry Trends: Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in front-end development, and suggest improvements to our processes and tools.
About You:
Technical Skills:
Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with a strong portfolio of web applications.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with back-end services.
Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, NPM/Yarn).
Design Sensibility: Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design. Ability to translate design mockups/Figma into functional, pixel-perfect interfaces.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with mobile-first and responsive design frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).
Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience with Django and Python: Understanding of how front-end interfaces interact with Django back-end services and experience working with Python-based applications.
