About Kamal Rathi
Kamal joins us with a stellar track record of owning high-scale backend systems end-to-end—from design and deployment to production monitoring. He specializes in Python, Django, FastAPI, async pipelines, and event-driven microservices built to handle serious real-world load.
In his previous roles at companies like CreateBytes and Wesolveforyou, Kamal delivered incredible technical milestones, including:
85% API Latency Reduction: Refactoring high-traffic PostgreSQL endpoints to slash peak response times from 2 seconds down to 300ms.
Monolith-to-Microservices Migration: Successfully decomposing a monolithic Django application into five independently deployable services using RabbitMQ, which boosted deployment frequency from weekly to daily.
Robust Async Pipelines: Designing Celery and Redis task queues that managed more than 5,000 tasks per hour while reducing job failures by 40%.
High-Throughput Ingestion: Developing a FastAPI backend capable of digesting real-time AI analytics for over 500 concurrent camera streams.
