We are thrilled to announce that Ajaykumar "AJ" Burigari has officially joined the LendAPI team as a full-time Software Engineer at our Irvine, California headquarters!
AJ’s journey with us is a special one. He first joined the LendAPI family as part of our 2025 Summer Intern Program. During those months, he didn't just learn the ropes—he dove headfirst into our most complex fintech integrations. Having recently graduated from California State University, Fullerton, AJ is now transitioning into a full-time role where he will continue to drive innovation for our clients.

AJ brings a powerhouse of experience and a deep educational background to the team. His journey to LendAPI is backed by a rigorous academic path and a track record of success at global technology firms:
Education: AJ holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from California State University, Fullerton (graduated December 2025) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from MATURI VENKATA SUBBA RAO ENGINEERING COLLEGE.
Tata Consultancy Services: As a System Engineer, he maintained core services for PNC Bank, successfully cutting API latency by 20% through expert query tuning and Redis caching.
EPAM Systems: In his role as a Junior Software Engineer, he led SCRUM ceremonies and modernized student management applications, moving them from legacy frameworks to high-performance microservices.
CSU Fullerton IT: While completing his Master's, he served as an IT Student Assistant, where he optimized annual budget usage by 20% and significantly reduced incident frequency.
Impacting the LendAPI Ecosystem
During his internship and his initial transition to full-time status, AJ has been a driving force behind several high-impact projects. Working out of our Irvine, CA headquarters, he has been instrumental in helping our clients get their products up and running at lightning speed.

Fintech Integrations: Architecting and deploying integrations for RouteOne, ZestAI, Equifax, TransUnion, and LexisNexis.
Scalable Pipelines: Designing event-driven pipelines using FastAPI, Django, and Redis to automate complex payroll and PDF generation workflows.
UI Modernization: Migrating legacy internal dashboards to React and TypeScript to ensure our team has the best tools available to serve our clients.
