This summer, Samuel will be joining the LendAPI team to focus on two of our most critical areas: Cloud Infrastructure and AI Initiatives. With experience in AWS, Docker, Python, and PostgreSQL—and a history of building scalable, intelligent systems—Samuel is well-positioned to contribute meaningfully to our platform’s technical evolution.

From modernizing websites for local organizations to developing a real-time multiplayer typing game and building a functional Scheme interpreter, Samuel has demonstrated an eagerness to learn and the technical rigor we value at LendAPI.

“I’m thrilled to be part of LendAPI this summer, where I’ll get to work on cloud architecture and AI projects that impact real financial applications. It’s the perfect place to learn and contribute in meaningful ways.”
Samuel Xia, 2025 Engineering Intern

At LendAPI, we’re committed to cultivating the next generation of engineering talent by offering hands-on opportunities at the forefront of fintech innovation. Samuel’s work will play a key role in helping us scale our infrastructure and integrate AI-driven decisioning more deeply into our product suite.

“Samuel brings curiosity, depth, and energy to our infrastructure and AI teams. We’re excited to see what he builds with us—and what we learn from him in return.”
Timothy Li, Co-Founder and CEO of LendAPI

Welcome aboard, Samuel—we’re lucky to have you on the team!
