Every loan is a thousand small decisions. Is the income real? Does the bank statement match the pay stub? Is that fraud signal a problem or a coincidence? Most of those decisions are still made by hand, one file at a time, by people who would rather spend their time on the hard calls.
Arc is the intelligence layer we're building into LendAPI to change that. It reads, checks, and drafts so your team can decide. And it's built around one principle: agents propose, humans publish

Write your policy the way you already say it
Describe the policy. Arc drafts the flow.
Your credit policy probably already exists in a sentence: "Decline anything under 680 FICO. Send DTI over 36% to a person. Approve the rest."
With Arc, that sentence is the starting point. Type it in plain English and Arc drafts the decision flow for you: a credit score check, a debt-to-income check, and clear paths to approve, decline, or hand the file to a person. No translating your policy into a canvas of nodes first.
The flow arrives as a draft. You review it, change what you want, and nothing goes live until someone on your team publishes it. The practical impact is that the person who knows the policy can build it, and the person who owns it stays in control.
Work that happens while you sleep
It works through the night
Applications don't stop arriving at 5 p.m. Arc keeps going: reading documents, verifying income, analyzing bank statements, checking fraud signals, clearing conditions, and writing a brief on each file.
By morning, the queue looks different. In our example, 214 applications were reviewed overnight. 205 are ready to go. Nine need a person, and Arc tells you exactly which ones and why: a March bank statement is missing, a pay stub doesn't match the deposits, a new business owner means a guarantor is needed.
For your team, that means the first hour of the day goes to the nine files that need judgment, not the two hundred that don't.
Every recommendation shows its work
Arc proposes. You decide.
When Arc recommends a decision, it doesn't ask you to take its word for it. A recommendation like "Approve $48,000, 60 months, 11.9% APR" links back to the exact lines in the pay stub, bank statement, and credit report that support it. Verified income, matching deposits, and debt-to-income are all visible, with the evidence one click away.
Then it waits. Approve, or ask for changes. The decision stays with a person, which matters in a regulated business where "the system decided" is never an acceptable answer.
Built into the whole platform
One intelligence layer across everything you already use
Arc isn't a separate tool bolted on the side. It connects to the parts of LendAPI your team already works in: applications, documents, Rules Studio, pricing, Flow Builder, integrations, the applicant portal, email, team chat, and our API. The same layer that drafts your flow can read your applications and brief your underwriters, because it's built into the platform they run on.
