About Vishwas Babu

Vishwas brings over 15 years of fintech and platform leadership to LendAPI.

Most recently, he served as Chief Product Officer at Mbanq, where he led product and platform development across Banking-as-a-Service and embedded finance solutions. During his tenure, he delivered large-scale platform enhancements and drove innovation across core banking APIs, compliance workflows, and global partner integrations.

Prior to Mbanq, Vishwas was a key leader at Apache Fineract, where he played a pivotal role in evolving the open-source core banking platform into a modular, enterprise-ready solution. His leadership helped drive adoption of Fineract among microfinance institutions, credit unions, and fintech platforms around the world.

Vishwas also co-founded FinFlux, a cloud-native lending and banking platform, where he defined product strategy and led engineering for digital lending infrastructure used by hundreds of financial institutions across emerging markets.

Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Community Engineer at the Mifos Initiative, working to expand financial inclusion by building accessible, open-source financial technology for underserved populations globally.
