Platform Update

We are back this week from America’s Credit Union Conference aptly titled “Governmental Affairs Conference” in our capital city Washington, DC. We met with a ton of our clients, potential partners and hung out with Curql Fund’s limited partners and friends of the fund.

We learned a ton about credit unions and how they operate, their goals and aspirations. It made us even more proud of what we’ve been able to do for this space and provide cutting edge lending platforms for all types of lending activities. One of those lending products favored by Credit Unions is indirect auto lending and we are dedicating this new platform release entirely to auto finance.

As we prepare for our Auto Lending vertical launch, we’ve officially completed our integration with RouteOne and DealerTrack. We are one of a few platforms out there with all of their latest APIs and endpoints integrated to facilitate the latest user experience. We will dive deeper into this release below.

Platform Update: v3.1.3

This release is all about auto lending. We can’t operate within the auto lending vertical without integrating with two dealership platforms such as RouteOne and DealerTrack. We spent the past few weeks integrating with all of their latest API and endpoints and according to these partners, LendAPI was the fastest integration on record. We finished all of the integration with certification within 4 weeks.

RouteOne and DealerTrack

In-direct Auto Lending means that the car dealership works with a variety of lending partners such as banks, credit unions and community banks. The POS (Point of Sale) financing dealerships often use are either RouteOne or DealerTrack. There is a bit of history behind how these point of sales financing platforms came about but we will work on that in a separate blog dedicated to everything you need to know about indirect auto financing.

You can easily find RouteOne and DealerTrack in our Integration Panel alongside JD Powers and Vehicle Databases.

LendAPI - DealerTrack and RouteOne Integration Complete

If you are interested in talking to us about setting up a new CUSO to serve the credit union space with a new indirect auto lending league, please contact us and we will dedicate all of our resources to get you launched and ready to lend.

As with all of our integration partners, you just need to create an account with DealerTrack or RouteOne and enter your credentials into each of the Plug-in settings and off you go. We took care of all the complex integration needs for you.

Car Dealership Management

As with all of our workflow, there’s a space for you to manage dealership to point of sale financing platforms.

LendAPI List View of Applications by Delaership and their Point of Sale Financing Platform

Sometimes, complex rules and workflows need to take place depending on which dealership from which POS is sending you (the lender) inquiries for credit. We built this space for you to manage these one-on-one relationships. This way, you have the utmost granular control on how you want to manage and direct applicants from each of the dealerships you work with whether it’s through DealerTrack or RouteOne.

You could even entertain a different product flow (application experience) for each of these unique relationships. We give the most detailed configuration and application view from each dealership.

E-Contract

Both of these Point of Sale financing platforms such as DealerTrack and RouteOne have newly established end-points to facilitate a smooth customer experience. These platforms have established e-contract handling between the POS and LOS (LendAPI).

This way, the back-and-forth of what the financing department negotiates with their clients can easily be amended and modified without having to contact the bank’s or credit union’s financing contact center. These types of contract negotiation and contract re-generation can all be handled by these newly established end points between RouteOne, DealerTrack and LendAPI.

LendAPI - eContracting with RouteOne and DealerTrack

LendAPI is one of the few Loan Origination Systems out there with all of the latest API end endpoints established with both RouteOne and DealerTrack to provide the best customer experience between shoppers and finance partners.

Underwriting Rules and Ultimate Flexibility

Our Rules Studio which is powered by our decision engine is one of the most used features on our platform. With 100+ integrated partners piping in scores and attributes, anyone with any technical skillset can implement, improve and modify these credit decision rules.

LendAPI - Auto Lending DIY Rule Management System

This visualized rules management system is so powerful that some of the biggest banks and lenders are using it daily to stay ahead of their customer demand and competition.

When it comes to managing your underwriting criteria for auto finance, you can create as many underwriting criteria to power any products or application experiences you’ve designed. You can bring in consumer credit report attributes, build your own custom variables to calculate decision points such as Loan-to-Vehicle value and create any other types of variables as you see fit.

You no longer have to reply on specialists, pay thousands of dollars to make simple changes and most importantly, all changes are logged and can go through an internal approval process. You can also take advantage of one of our lab functions to conduct A/B testing to see whether challenger models give you a higher approval rate and lower default rates.

E-Sign Capabilities

We can map all of the dynamically generated variables into a standard contract document so clients can sign them easily within a dealership, given that the dealership has the capability for the customers to e-sign.

LendAPI E-Sign Capabilities for DealerTrakc and RouteOne

If the dealership doesn’t supply this capability, the LOS (LendAPI) can send a SMS or email for the customer to e-sign their contract while they are at the dealership. This will reduce the amount of waste generated by using paper documents which you will need to scan and vault. These wastes cause lenders and dealerships thousands of dollars a month. We can eliminate this waste.

What’s Next?

With the completion of our Flow Builder, we are ready for the agentic world. We will be working with partners and clients to build an Agentic Studio to understand customers contextually and use automation to complete tasks that otherwise require someone to be on call 24/7.

We believe that these Agentic Agents will begin to take on smaller tasks such as understanding an uploaded document or an email correspondent form an end client by the second half of 2026. We will demonstrate some of these capabilities at this year’s FinTech MeetUp in Las Vegas as well as Money2020 towards the end of this year.
