We had our board meeting this past week and we feel like we are ready for the next stage of our growth. Our Head of GTM Bennett gave the board a whole new outlook in terms of our sales strategy, sales process and how we are defining our pipeline.

Sales Organization
Navigating LendAPI into a high performing sales organization is our next stage of our growth. We’ve refined our ICP to Credit Unions and everything is coming into focus. We love the energy credit unions give off and we believe there are a ton of areas where LendAPI and credit unions can join hands together and conquer more spaces where members and potential members roam.
Our new sales organization is kicking off with a great start. Bennett presented a whole new vision to how we approach sales at our quarterly board meeting and it’s been something we’ve been looking forward to for a long time.
The sales team has already made a sale to one of our existing clients with additional data which they need to perfect their underwriting strategy. It’s been only a few short weeks and they are making waves already for the sales organization. We can’t wait for them to stretch their wings.
We will be present at more events, conferences and talk to even more credit unions about how to gain members and their trust wherever they are.
NACUSO - North America Credit Union Service Organization
We are headed to NACUSO for the very first time. We have an onstage 3 to 4 minute pitch and meeting with credit unions and CUSOs (Credit Union Service Organizations) in a 1:1 format which we’ve been doing since FinTech Meetup.
We can wait to talk to credit unions on go to market strategy to meet new members where they shop, play and work.
OLA - Tribal Lending Conference
Online Lenders Alliance is a place where we find the most innovation. This year at the annual tribal lending conference, we will be working with tribal representatives and TLEs (Tribal Lending Entities) to work on the next frontier of lead generation, loan onboarding, and loan servicing. We have a lot of partners in this space to further refine analytics, deflect fraud to make tribal lending a space to implement new strategies, new data vendors and new models to deliver more value to consumers in the United States.
Platform Upgrade - v3.1.7
The team reviewed a beautiful and intense product roadmap this week and we can’t wait to start working on new features to both our LOS and LMS platforms to make launching new products even easier.
Thanks for clients visiting us this week and all of their feedback. We can’t thank you guys enough for making us better. We appreciate all feedback. All of them.

Integrated Partners - Big Upgrade
LendAPI works with over 300 integration partners and about 120 of these are fully integrated into our platform. Each integration takes a few days to a few weeks to complete. We’ve done all the hard work and you get to enjoy them all.
Some of the integrations are difficult to complete because there are tons of variables of end-points that require a lot of data exchange between our LOS or LMS and our integration partners. To make this even easier for our clients and for ourselves when we help clients, we made a new improvement to how these variables are mapped between our platform and our partners.
Introducing a new visual data mapper within our integration partners module.

Here, we are using our Loan Management System as an example, our EmbARC system has a ton of loan types, features and data needed to onboard a loan. There could be a myriad of required fields and extra fields or nice to have fields that would be good to have in the Loan Management System side of the equation
Our system will now display all the fields from the API endpoint from another system, say our EmbARC LMS, then we will ask the user to map the variables from our LOS platform to the data fields from the integrated partner.
This one for one mapping ensures accuracy and gives our user a visual guide as to which variable should be mapped to which other variable to make two systems talk to each other in an expected way.
We think this feature will speed up integration, increase accuracy and remove another layer of engineer-led ask into a product led task which greatly increases the speed to market.
Loan Management System - EmbARC
We created more ways for our clients to understand how loans are created, how amortization is calculated and tracking these tasks for each new loan that goes into the the loan management system.

On the EmbARC (LendAPI’s Loan Management System) side, we created logs and tracked these “birthday” events from an integrated partners point of view.
In this example, we’ve connected our Loan Originations System to our LMS and letting the client know that these loans are created using multiple EmbARC APIs to create a loan, create a loan schedule and loan contracts and consents are also uploaded via endpoints.
The Need for Speed
LendAPI is now processing close to 1,000,000 credit applications a day and some of our biggest clients are sending through thousands of applications per hour. Our CRM system’s database is able to consistently perform their tasks without a hitch.
Our platform engineers have been working hard at improving performance of our overall platform with new code, new algorithms and new ways to access our CRM system.

In our new release and as part of the v3.1.7 upgrade, we made our search functionality faster, almost 1/3rd faster than the previous release.
So when you search for a client, the research result comes back and you can save time and focus on what’s really important. This speed improvement has been implemented and please enjoy.
Permissioning Updates
We get a ton of requests to add more features to our permissioning process. We are working on a big overhaul but for this release, we added a way for you to create users with a certain access to the sandbox and production environments.

For instance, if you are selecting to add an Administrator role, that role will have “Full Access” enabled to access all of the environments, Sandbox and Production.
If you are adding an analyst, you can select whether you want this person to have only sandbox or production access. We think with this simple change, you can provide this permissioning to a variety of different roles for a bunch of different use cases.
We are working on a full permission concept where you can enable and disable certain features and functionalities within the LendAPI overall platform to provide even finer control for your needs.
EmbARC LMS Update - Email Attachments
EmbARC LMS sends a lot of emails and some of them can now include attachments. We brought over the concept from our LOS Platform to EmbARC.

You can attach any number of relevant attachments to EmbARC led emails. For example, a member of a customer might request their promissory note to be sent via email.
You can now design an email template with that particular attachment and send it at will. This will give your servicing staff even more control and keep all conversations with members and customers in one place.
