Platform Update

Platform Update

Last week was full of fun at LendAPI. We had one of our biggest bank clients visit us to get trained on our platform as well as an onsite visit. It was successful beyond our expectations. They walked away with confidence and enthusiasm. Thanks to Equifax for sending in their troops and collaborating with us with the bank partner to do more.

LendAPI Offsite

We had our very first company offsite meeting as a company. LendAPi has over 30 employees now around the world and it's a treat to get our US based team in one place to discuss the future of LendAPI. The offsite is all about collaboration and process. Thanks to Kay and Chakresh for putting together a product and process vision for LendAPI. We look for flawless execution in the coming weeks.

Our offsite continued with an amazing K1 Speed race car team building event and we invited all of the local interns to join us. Dinner with the staff and our 2025 internship class was extremely helpful to get everyone together to celebrate our success and the intern’s successes as well. Our customer success manager Chase was the crowned champion of the K1 Speed race. Congratulations to Chase and his golden trophy!

The month of July is our ClientCare Month and we are busy diagnosing all sorts of small bugs and UI/UX tweaks to make our platform work even better. As part of the overall change to LendAPI’s release schedule, we are also going into a two week release schedule and this week we are publishing v2.9.6, a platform enhancement release to continue to beef up our platform for our 30+ clients.

LendAPI Partner Podcast

We launched a brand new episode of our ever popular LendAPI Partner Podcast. We are starting a new series featuring local tech entrepreneurs and our client, Mor Milo, CEO of Relli, an upstart crowdfunding platform focusing on real estate development. Listen to his podcast below.

LendAPI Partner Podcast with Mor Milo, CEO at Relli

We have other episodes which we will feature next week with our marketplace partners. If you would like to join us and talk about your journey, our arms are wide open. Please contact us or our amazing host Rutger van Fassen to schedule your upcoming podcast slot. You will be featured on our website, Apple Podcast as well Spotify. The best part about our podcast is that you will need to be LendAPI’s marketplace fintech partner (free to join) and of course our client. See you in season 2!

LendAPI Academy

LendAPI’s Pricing Engine is a stand alone as well as an integrated product whereby upon an approval decision is reached, you can link your decision to activate a pricing algorithm. For instance, if you have a personal installment loan and you would like to display a risk based pricing offer either in an offer page or straight onto a promissory note, this episode will show you how.

LendAPI Pricing Engine 101: Quick Intro

We will begin production on new episodes featuring new features of our website as well as platform to give you a more intimate preview of what LendAPI’s overall platform can do. Look out for those new episodes next week!

LendAPI FinTech Marketplace

We are working on LendAPI FinTech 250 infographics right as we speak. In fact the infographics are finished and we are putting the final touch ups on these incredible sets of logos with our new design concepts and motifs. Stay tuned for the shoutout of 2025 and heart felt congratulations to our incredible community that makes what we do special.

Without our FinTech Marketplace, there won’t be LendAPI and we wouldn’t be able to launch any financial products instantly. If you would like to join us, please email us at info@lendapi.com

LendAPI Platform Release Notes - v2.9.6

Our new release v2.9.6 is all about paying attention to our clients. During our ClientCare Month, we will be releasing bug fixes, patches to increase the usability of our platform and reduce the amount of bugs in our platform.

As we’ve mentioned before, we will also go into a two week release cycle as opposed to our weekly release cycle to ensure that our releases are tested with no disruptions to our clients.

Below are some examples of work we’ve done in the past two weeks at LendAPI.

Product Studio - Updates

We are adding an “always hide” control to the product configurator to allow certain fields to always hide from the applicants to speed up the application process. Certain fields are prefilled and do not need to be displayed for affirmation and our clients don't need to let their end clients see these fields. This configuration allows our clients to hide fields.

Agent View - Updates

We made a permission update where only certain permissioned roles are allowed to edit the data in the Data Tab within the application view in the Agent Dashboard.

Model Studio - Updates

We expanded the ability for clients to create derived variables of other derived variables which makes our variable builder within the Model Studio even more versatile.

CustomerCare Month - Real Estate Financing Platform Updates

We’ve made several enhancements to our Real Estate Financing product where upload document features can be added to their custom flow. We’ve integrated our platform further with Real Estate Financing's platform to Salesforce. We’ve also added functionality where beneficial owners can now be emailed based on certain platform triggers.

CustomerCare Month - Credit Card Platform Updates

  • We’ve made some changes to how disclosures are displayed to the end users. We also addressed a few bugs relating to the Application Fee payment feature as part of the end user application flow.

  • CustomerCare Month - Buy Now Pay Later Platform Updates

  • We made enhancements so that each page of the application will send data to GoHighLevel CRM system so that BNPL clients can track each step of the applicant’s credit application journey.

  • CustomerCare Month - Overall Platform Enhancements

  • We addressed some issues where variables created with the same system name will throw an error via all the ways a variable can be created.

  • We fixed an issue with our search bar in the Agent View that’s not functioning only in the sandbox environment.

  • We fixed an issue when there’s a chained decision tree with other decision trees. This is now fixed.

  • We’ve also fixed an issue where conditions upon a variable will be removed if the variable itself is disabled.

  • We also fixed a nested rule issue where the parent rules are removed before the child rules. This was causing an issue but it has now been fixed.

  • Derived variables should not be visible as the Mapping Variable candidates in our Pricing Engine.

  • We also fixed a minor bug where the hover state within the Product Studio was not working. This has been resolved.

  • “Created by” meta data was not copied when we cloned a product. This piece of information has been resolved and we will know the original author of the product created within the Product Studio.

What’s Next?

We have eight people joining our company in the coming weeks and it will put additional pressure on our management team and all of our team members.

The new members joining us are in the customer success management team, sales team and our quality assurance team. Most of our team centers will experience a doubling or tripling effect and we will look for ways to install processes to ensure the quality of our product as well as quality of our services.

Lastly, we want to thank you for your support and we look forward to working with you in the 2nd half 2026. If your plan is to launch your embedded financing product by the end of year, let us help you to get there fast with efficiency.
