We had an amazing and fruitful week this week. We pushed out a big platform update (more on that later) and presented it in front of 12 community banks all at once at their monthly workshop. We have to thank our bank client for bringing us in and giving us the opportunity to show off our platform.
We talked to newly formed banks, financing arms of one of the biggest online retail outfits in the world, you know which one, ;). And we have a new sales person starting and we can’t wait to tell you more about that.
July 2025 Platform Upgrade
In the past few weeks, we talked about July being our customer care month and we’ve been nose down to work on all aspects of our platform to prepare for the rest of the year. Sam and I even sat down for hours and QA’ed the most used features of our platform.
As part of the revamp of our platform, we also put in new processes to check in code and keep a tight leash on our release rhythm. Here are some major changes, all code will accompany functional testing and comments. We will still release hot fixes at will but future platform enhancements will be on a two week rhythm as opposed to one. This will give our team ample time to test.
This doesn’t mean that the volume of features will falter, we will produce as much as features in the two week sprint. We are already enjoying this new process with our v2.9.7 release.

LendAPI Platform Release Notes - v2.9.7 Full Release
Our v2.9.7 release has been billed as our July Customer Care Release. This release consists of just shy of 100 tickets, large and small. We had a successful release this past week and there were no issues from this release. Here are some highlights from this platform upgrade release.
Core Platform - Updates:
Hide all the inactive products when we map contracts to products to create a better experience.
Product Studio - Updates:
We labeled system variables with our “L” logo next to them on the left hand side of the variable listing panel in Product Studio.
We are showing all of the variable name, variables code in the variable listing view on the left hand side of the Product Studio.

Agent Dashboard - Updates:
We are showing all of the data the applicant has filled out in the Agent Dashboard landing page.
We renamed Application to Agent Dashboard on the left navigational bar.
We left the agent to see the entire logging list without collapsing it by default in the Log tab of each application in view.
You can search the applicant’s full name in the search bar now.
Co-Applicants - Update:
Allow users to embed app_url_tab directly into the email templates.
Allow for dynamic product generation for each co-applicants spun off from the main applicant. We are setting the stages for our dynamic co-applicant flow in the coming releases.
Know Your Business - Update:
We made a small data formatting change so Headcounts in the company info page will not display in thousands. Companies with small headcounts won’t be rounded up to the thousands anymore.
If a company research result does not have a EIN response from KYB API show as “No Verified EIN”
We also hid some elements of the API response that’s not relevant for end users searching for businesses. These elements are all system elements and do not affect the KYB search results.
We’ve also increased the size of the preview modal in our KYB tool.
We also fixed some minor spacing issues in the company result pages.
We resolved a minor issue where the KYB API wasn’t returning any information.

What’s Next?
There are few things that are exciting on our roadmap, the first one is dynamically route co-applicant experience. This is one of the hotly requested functionalities where the main applicant can spin up co-applications and we are putting all of these functionalities within our product studio so clients can use it to build any co-applicant experience they want.
We will also unveil our SMS texting platform. Yes, we will manage all of your long codes. We will combine chat and SMS functionality into one. This will also be a micro service where we clients can use this functionality independently from the rest of the LendAPI platform.
