About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and results-driven Head of Sales to join our leadership team. This person will own LendAPI’s entire sales strategy — from refining our go-to-market approach to leading a high-performance team. You’ll be responsible for revenue growth, building key client relationships, expanding into new markets, and ensuring our customers and partners succeed with LendAPI.

What You Will Do:
Sales Strategy & Leadership: Develop, refine, and execute the sales strategy across multiple verticals (financial institutions, fintechs, lenders, etc.).
Team Building: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team. Coach reps on strategy, negotiation, and closing techniques.
Pipeline Management: Own the sales funnel from lead generation to close. Build strong forecasting and reporting processes.
Partnerships: Collaborate with product, marketing, and partnership teams to align on market opportunities and drive revenue.
Customer Success Alignment: Work closely with Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and long-term client retention.
Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new market opportunities and emerging customer segments.
Metrics-Driven: Set KPIs, track sales performance, and report results to the executive team.
Thought Leadership: Represent LendAPI at industry events, webinars, and customer meetings as a subject matter expert in fintech and lending technology.
About You:
8+ years of sales experience in fintech, SaaS, financial services, or B2B technology — at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of scaling revenue from $5M to $20M+ ARR.
Deep understanding of the fintech ecosystem, credit decisioning, banking, or lending industries a strong plus.
Excellent leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
Highly analytical with a data-driven mindset.
Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Passion for technology, innovation, and financial services transformation.
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent a plus.
