About the Role:

LendAPI is seeking a driven, results-oriented Sales Associate to join our fast-growing team. As a key member of our sales organization, you’ll play a vital role in growing our customer base by identifying, engaging, and converting prospects. This is a high-impact position that requires strong communication skills, a passion for fintech, and the ability to effectively demo our software platform to a wide range of lenders and fintech clients.

You’ll also work closely with our onboarding and customer success teams to ensure a smooth transition from signed deal to successful launch. If you're a motivated closer who thrives in a startup environment and loves showcasing the power of innovative technology, we’d love to meet you.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate and qualify leads

  • Schedule and deliver live demos of the LendAPI platform to prospective clients

  • Understand and articulate the value proposition of LendAPI’s Decision Engine, Marketplace, and APIs

  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospects using our CRM tools

  • Follow up consistently with leads and navigate deal cycles to close new business

  • Collaborate with the onboarding team to ensure a smooth handoff and launch experience

  • Track and report key metrics to leadership and continuously refine your sales strategy

  • Stay informed about the fintech landscape and lending trends

About You:

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or fintech sales (or equivalent experience in financial services or lending)

  • Confident communicator and presenter with experience demoing software products

  • Strong phone presence and ability to build rapport quickly

  • Self-starter with a high sense of urgency and excellent time management skills

  • Collaborative and comfortable working across teams in a fast-paced environment

  • Passionate about fintech and technology-driven transformation in lending

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience selling to banks, credit unions, or fintech lenders

  • Familiarity with lending platforms, credit decisioning, or APIs

  • Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM system

  • Knowledge of underwriting workflows or financial technology integrations

  • You’ve previously demoed technical software to both business and technical stakeholders
